Every November, Club members make Thanksgiving Baskets with the fixings for complete meals. These baskets are given to needy kids at Jack D. Gordon Elementary. Some students in the club are very needy and are often recipients. Although they are poor, they gain value in helping others as a member of Kids 4 Kids. Being in the club has taught them that no matter how little they might have, there are others who are less fortunate. Club members sign up and bring in cooked turkeys, pies, rolls, and everything needed to make a family feel special on Thanksgiving. They are thankful that they can help out.
