Dear Mrs. Davis,

Thank you for your recent letter on the Kids 4 Kids Program and for your ardent leadership. I'm familiar with this innovative program and the outstanding accomplishments that you've made. You're a rare individual in the teaching profession; one that takes that extra mile and goes beyond what is expected by using the essential tool of enthusiasm.

It's that quality of devotion that has helped many of our homeless and abused children, by supplying them with something seemingly simple as a filled backpack. With this, hay at least get a healthy academic start and hopefully develop a love of lifetime learning.

Unfortunately, I will be out of town with my family and will be unable to see our student's faces as they receive their first backpacks. I am confident, however, with you as the program's leader, our student will be overjoyed and equipped for their first day of school.

Once again, thank you. Our school system is most fortunate to have teachers such as yourself working in the best interest of our youth.
